Hyper-V and AVX, AVX2/FMA, AVX512, etc. instruction sets

Some versions of Hyper-V may not enable OSXSAVE to save/restore the new CPU state supporting 256-bit (or wider) registers.

Thus, AVX, AVX2/FMA or AVX512 (and later) instruction sets cannot be used.

On Windows client Hyper-V might be installed automatically by packages like Windows Phone SDK, Android SDK - which uses it to run the phone emulators.

Note that Hyper-V may also affect CPU/chipset power management (e.g. "Turbo") thus be sure to test before and after installation.
