Database failure / No Reference Results / Cannot Save Results

Unfortunately your MDAC (database access) installation has been damaged. Sadly it is very sensible and prone to such mishaps as it is not protected by Windows' protection system.

  • Please use MDAC component checker to check that your MDAC install is OK:

    MDAC Checker

  • If this has not fixed it, try registering the Jet/Access libs manually by typing in a console/command prompt:

    regsvr32 msjetoledb40.dll

  • If all fails only a Windows reinstall may fix it.
